Pyce was Helios' newest apprentice 10,000 years prior to the series and was a temporary Nature Fire Guardian along with his love Rose. He was the original incarnation of Jimmy Z.

Pyce had become an apprentice under the sun god Helios. While he was getting acquainted with the magical residents, he spotted a certain Fire Nymph named Rose.
